Sent damaged tank, promised new one - NEVER CAME

Ordered fish tank (Nano Cube) and stand from Aquacon website. After opening tank on 10/27/2013 discovered tank was broken. Stand had not arrived. I called Aquacon the following day and spoke to Debbie their customer service representative. While I was on the phone with Debbie, she spoke to the owner Ron who acknowledged that the company that packs the Nano cube does a poor job. The tank broke because a heavy item ~15 lbs (light ballast) was put inside the tank without support, which allowed the ballast to slide back and forth. This acted like a battering ram inside the tank and broke the glass. Ron promised to send me a new tank and that I could use the broken tank as spare parts. About a month later after repeated emails about the status of a replacement tank I called Aquacon and spoke to owner Ron. He admitted no replacement tank was sent yet, but told me that he ordered a new tank from another supplier. Claimed that new tank was on a truck being shipped to me. Assured me that tank was ordered because he had an invoice for the new tank. To this date I have received no replacement tank and the original stand was never shipped. Ron repeatedly made promises to ship a new tank and admitted responsibility. Thank goodness my bank reversed the charges. I understand things getting damaged but having the company repeatedly lie to me about replacing the product is not acceptable.
