I am an Associate Pastor for a 400 member church. We used the gas certificate program as a fund raiser which proved very good for our church raising over $10,000.00 in less than 3 months which way surpassed our expectations. We have decided to keep on selling these certificates as well as the food certificates which help us feed the poor and homeless. We have no complaints on the gift cards themselves. We only wish they were quicker in receiving them. It usually takes 8-10 weeks to receive them but I have been told that soon this time will be cut down to 4-5 weeks. In February 2011 our church made over $3,000.00 on the certificates. We now feel very comfortable with this program and will continue to use it not only as a very good fund raiser but also as a way to help our members save on gas and food expenses.
