Wow, their customer service skills have much to be desired. This was the fourth appointment I've made here and I've only been there once. Granted, the first time was okay. I got a body wave and it turned out very well, but they forgot to tell me to prepare myself to be there for four hours. I was starving! Guess they worked under the assumption that I, too, was a stylist and should've known that I was going to be there that long. Big mistake. Anyway, my next appointment was at 10am for some highlights. I received a text reminder for a weave. Well, again they *assumed* that I knew weave was interchangeable for highlights. How stupid of me. So I get this phone call from the receptionist if I could change my time to 11am. I said, "Well, you know I did schedule it for 10 because I just wanted to get it done asap." Her next statement: "Um, do you have somewhere to be?" WOW! I didn't get mad because she sounded like she just graduated high school and this was her first job. BUT, on my appointment day I get a phone call from the stylist and the very first thing out of her mouth is: Are you almost here? I'm sorry, do I know you to speak to me that way? Okay... Well, she nonetheless went on to tell me that my appointment would have to be changed to 12:30pm because another client came in at my time--essentially. By that point I was over Urban Roots and their cheap service--if that's what you'd even call it. Honestly, the way these people treat their clients, you'd think they don't need us. Guess the economy didn't break their bank... and boy, what a huge bank it is. Have you seen their prices???
