In order for a business relationship to be successful, it is important to have communication with the business and trust that they will perform as promised (both verbally and in writing).
It was necessary to communicate with this company on many occasions just to get them to clean up a site after they removed a home they purchased from a foreclosing lender. The clean up consisted of debris, large plastic remnants of materials used to cover sections of the manufactured home, wood pieces with nails protruding, broken cement and gravel, metal bracing that supported the removed awnings were protruding up from the ground. The site was finally cleaned up but it took many calls.
This company made promises of placing a home in the community to replace the home that was removed. They signed an agreement to pay for a site where they intended to place a home, for purposes of selling it.
Not only have they failed to pay for the site (under signed agreement) and place a home (also in signed agreement), but they have refused to answer subsequent telephone and fax messages as well as mailed correspondence to them.
If they remove a home, they should know to leave the site clean. If it was not their intent to pay for a site or place a home for sale, they should not have agreed (in writing) to do so.
