Wheel covers do not fit

Purchased a full set of wheel covers for my 2006 Toyota Corolla LE. These covers do not fit the stock factory wheel on my car. I suspected rust or interference from a wheel weight but that was not the case. As I was feverishly attempting to install the first one it one of the spoke bases fractured. Tried another new one on the rear wheel and it did the same. I have been installing covers like this for 30 years and never, ever had this problem before. Plain and simple they are manufactured too large. Tried many times to call the company and they suggest you go to their website to file a complaint. Obviously they are not into customer service. I am wondering if they are still in business. They stole 58.00 of my money as far as I am concerned.
