I also signed up with the debt answer and was told this law firm would be settling my debt. I signed up in January and just cancelled my contract this month. I paid this company $800 to contact my creditors. However, they did not. So, my credit report now shows me have 5-90day late payments and my creditors tacked on about $1500 of fees and charges. So, when I cancelled my contract they told me that none of my funds are refundable. It is ridiculous that a law firm is taking advantage of people who need help. There was no service rendered on their behalf. I have contacted the attorney general and the state bar of Florida on them. Hopefully something will get done.
