Wow. I’m almost in disbelief reading these reviews. I was in a debt settlement program and finished this past November and I am ECSTATIC! Simon & Bocksch was actually the Law Firm that did the negotiating for the program I had signed up with. I am shocked to read such bad reviews on them, and also shocked to NOT see anything positive! There is no way I could’ve done any of this without the assistance of Simon & Bocksch. Amazing negotiators! There were, finally, able to settle my largest credit account for 20% of the total balance due! When I originally signed up with debt settlement, about 3 years ago, I didn’t think they would really get the results they promised. Not only did they meet the projected expectations, my total debt was settled for an average of 32% of my total debt AND the program was finished sooner than expected. I have to admit, it seemed like it did take a very long while. Patience played an important role. The creditor calls were a lot in the beginning, but as promised, they eventually stopped. It also took a while for the funds to build up in my reserves account before any settlements could happen, but that was set at the beginning of the program, depending on my total debt and the monthly payments I could afford to pay towards the program. I must say, despite the reviews I just read, my experience with Simon & Bocksch was wonderful. I know I was not the only person calling in, and I understand that they cannot give their full attention to everyone every day, but if and when I did call in, my calls were returned within a day, or two. I thought their customer service was just fine. I also know that when I was still receiving calls from my creditors, they would tell me, over and over again, that they had not heard from Simon & Bocksch, and that they had no clue who they were, etc., even though I had been part of a conference call between Chase and Simon & Bocksch just the week before! Those creditors would say ANYTHING to try to get me to break down and pay them directly. I stayed strong, and the results were fantastic! I sure did learn all about debt settlement. If I had to, I’d do it all again. I wouldn’t change a thing.
