Shook painting is a wonderful company to work with. A friend of ours had their house painted by them and I was really impressed with the quality of work performed. The "little things" are what convinced me to use shook painting such as: appropriate over-spray and drip prevention, quality paints, and attention to detail including perfectly straight lines on rounded corner drywall color changes.
They were very easy to get in contact with through phone or email and always responded promptly. The paint crew always showed up on time (and in some cases a few minutes early) and they finished on time and cleaned everything up prior to leaving.
Steve was very helpful during the estimate providing tips/suggestions and the willingness to listen and understand exactly what we wanted and where we wanted it. Steve was also very flexible and prompt in creating "new" quotes as I continuously asked "him how much to do this or not do this but do that."
He may be a bit more expensive but the quality is definitely worth it. You could use a cheaper painter and save a few coins but as they say "you get what you pay for."
I'd highly recommend Shook painting to anyone looking to have paint work performed.
