I just wanted to tell you about what a horrible company Steamatic of NM is. They cleaned my carpets for me in May of 2008. During that cleaning, I received POOR customer service. The two gentlemen did a horrible job cleaning my carpets and wanted to get out the door so fast they didn't even bother to put the little foam inserts under my furniture. I had to ask them if they were out of the foam things and they said no and they handed a me two sheets of them FOR ME TO GO AND DO THE JOB I WAS PAYING THEM FOR! Needless to say I was put off by the whole transaction. When DENNIS from Steamatic called to ask how my carpeting cleaning services went I explained the whole situation and he apologized profusely. He then said he would give one free room clean for having to their job. I said great.
I just called them (12/3/08) to set-up a room clean for my living room and was informed I would have to pay $109.95 (this was after an $11 discount for being a repeat customer). I then told DENNIS (yes, same person as above - you can't forget his voice) how had received poor customer service last time and that I was told there should be a free room cleaning on my account. He said sorry there wasn't. I said you were the one who told me that he was going to give me the free room clean. He said, "I am sorry, but we clean over 200 houses a week." I said, "Wow. I will be telling all me friends NEVER TO CALL YOU because you LIE AND HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!" He then said nothing and just hung up.
IN A NUTSHELL, NEVER CALL STEAMATIC OF NM!
