Stamps.con Sucks! Avoid them like the plague!
|
My experience with stamps.com on 3/9/2013 was a disaster. I needed to have 2700 envelopes printed in a mail merge operation and wished to apply the postage simultaneousl with the printing. I sign-up with stamps.com on the above date (a Saturday) and all went well until I attempted to add postage to my account.
Due to a problem that has been identified as being on stamps.com's side, my credit card (a very high value Platinum CITI card with no outstanding balance) was rejected. I worked with CITI and they determined that there was no problem on their side and that it was all on stamp.com's side.
Unfortunately, stamps.com has no help service on the weekend so I was dead in the water when I had 14 volunteers available to help get this important non-profit piece out the door. In stead of losing everything, I purchased 2700 stamps from Costco and salvaged part of the project with my now overburdened volunteers. I can see why stamps.com has a near monopoly with the USPS: they both are lower than whale poop!
