Well for starters, this company is full of people who do in fact pressure you to buy but to make matters worse when it comes time to making sure a deal gets closed they do anything necessary to close transactions even if it means violating tons of Real Estate Laws. I came to learn about this company through my mother in law and my wife with whom they had attempted to work with in order to refer clients. They saw an ad in the local magazine (El Clasificado) which claimed they would pay any individual a referral fee for every client $2000.00, little did my wife and mother in law know they had no intentions of paying any such referral fee due to their dishonest and unethical practices that basically led us to believe their lies. When my mother in law and wife had informed me that this company was not willing to oblige to their own ad I attempted to speak to the manager whos name is Tandra but could not get passed neither the receptionist nor the agent (Rita Hernandez) who lied to both my wife and mother in law from the very beginning. Rita, on direct instructions from the company also when as far as actually hand monies over to the buyers in order to complete the real estate transaction while providing that money to escrow. My mother in law was then told once the transaction had recorded a few weeks later that the money that was placed in escrow was the referral fee that should have been given to my mother in law for such referral but since it was used to complete the 10% of the down payment she would no longer qualify to get the referral fee. In retrospect basically Santiago Homes did what they needed to do in order to close that deal even if it meant not providing the referral fee to those whom deserved it. I was so disappointed that they would've taken such stance when it was made very clear that we would've referred many more clients had this transaction gone well. I would highly recomend everyone look for another company in order to purchase a mobile home due to once again very unethical practices and real estate infractions. I will be formally contacting the D.R.E as well as others who will look into this mattter much more in depth because as I mentioned their were MANY Real Estate Code Infractions and luckily even the clients themselves were disappointed that Santiago Homes did this to us so they are fully cooperating in the investigation. We as a collective (the public) can no longer stand by and allow companies such as this one to continually take advantage of consumers who look to use their services. And by the way they dont even receive one star but apperantly the BBB only allows a min of one star!(period)
