When I met Teri at a dog park I thought she was a Godsend. We got along great but best of all she really seemed to love my dogs. I work long hours and am gone 13 or more hrs a day when I work.The plan was perfect...she would pick them up at my place around ten then drop them off at 5:30 after walking them. They would go for walks, to the park and play in her back yard. Then I noticed that my youngest dog was starting to get destructive and peeing inside...I couldn't figure out why and asked Teri...she was at a loss as well. Well unbeknownst to Teri a friend of mine was staying with me and was home on a couple of days the she was suppose to have them. Day one she told me the dogs were great in and out of her place all day....she couldn't understand why my youngest had torn up a rug and peed inside twice. Reality was she didn't pick them up or show up to walk them, my friend did because she didn't show up. She did come in the evening for five minutes to use my bathroom, feed them, and turn the lights on to look like she'd done her job. Day two my friend text me that she still hadn't shown by 11 so he was going to walk them. I sent her a text to ask how they were doing she immediately text back that they were great...THEY WERE AT THE PARK!! She didn't come until 3 that afternoon to find my dogs gone and a note for her to leave her keys under the mat. She text me today (two days later) to say she was sorry to have lied about the dogs being at the park "I was behind and too embarrassed to own up that I had not yet picked them up". She doesn't realize yet that I know she hasn't been walking them let alone taking them to her place for heaven only knows how many times. And even if it had been that one time the dogs hadn't been walked since 6am... my puppy can't hold it for more then 5hrs and she shows up after 9hrs!! What a lying deceitful person taking my money for a job she wasn't doing!!! No wonder my puppy was tearing things up and using my living room as his toilet. And I thought we were friends. What really infuriates me is that my dogs were suffering...being ignored while I was at work bragging about the great daycare they were getting. Please stay away from her for the good of your animals. How anyone who professes to love animals so much could treat my babies like this and then lie about it is beyond me.
