I dropped off an autographed baseball of the 1957 Dodgers with PSA at a convention. They sent the ball back to me 2 months later with a letter telling me they could not authenticate it as it was a "clubhouse version." When I called PSA to find out why it wasn't authenticated, they told me that all 24 signatures on the ball were signed by bat boys or assistants. I know this is absolutely not true as my grandfather, who is still alive, had the team sign this ball in person back in 1957. When I asked for my money back, I was told nothing could be refunded.
Do not use this service, it was a waste of $175.00 and the PSA reps did not inform me of anything like this when I dropped off the ball with them.
