I lived in a house being rented out by this company for 2 years. I never once payed my rent late or received any complaints. Upon terminating my lease I complied with all of the terms of my contract and was told, in writing, that I'd receive the refund of my deposit within 21 days. When I didn't receive the refund by the 18th day I called the company asking when I should be expecting my check and the man told me that it wasn't ready but it should be by the 21st. The 21st rolls around and sure enough, no check in the mail. I called to speak with whoever is above the man that was handling my refund. This is when it gets interesting. Richard, the president of the company, is the man who they put me on the phone with. After explaining who I was and why I was calling he said he'd connect me with the man who was handling my refund. I told him I didn't want to speak with him and Richard replied, "I don't want to speak to you!" Seeing as that it is their responsibility in THEIR contract to refund my money within 21 days, it's ridiculous and unprofessional to treat me in this way as if I've done something wrong. I told him he was being rude after he said that to me and he said "I think you're being rude!" What are we in 4th grade? I'm guessing that Richard is probably in at least his 50's, speaking to me, a 25 year old woman in that manner, it was shocking. After all that he hung up on me. Not once did I raise my voice or curse at this man. I guess he felt like since I was no longer a tenant he didn't need to treat me with any respect. I've never seen him but I've seen his mid-life-crisis car with the vanity plates CEO PPM. He seems very proud of himself but he shouldn't be. He is a disgrace to human kind.
