Overpriced for low quality service
|
I can't begin to express how terrible the service was. I waited at the front for someone to come greet me and no one was there. Finally a girl named Ashley came up and I told her I wanted a trim. "Oh, just a trim? This way." She never went over anything with me. I get my hair washed, sit in the chair, and I ask the girl who's working on my hair how much the cut is going to cost. She starts snipping at it and tells me its going to be $40. I asked her if I could get up and she said "It's going to be $40.00 even for just a trim". When the girl finished my hair, it looked exactly as it did when I didn't want to be rude so I said "Oh, nice..." I go up to the counter and argue with this Ashley lady who tells me "I'm one of the managers, I'm sorry but our prices are listed on the site." When I spoke with the stylist I told her I just saw their salon while driving by. That girl had the nerve to give me her business card and tell me to check the prices online for "next time" I was so upset, regardless I still gave a tip to the girl that cut my hair. Her name was Angie. But I feel that the service I received wasn't what I paid for. I am not asking for anything free, I just feel like I was really cheated. $40.00 for a haircut that took 20 minutes and didn't even look that noticably different. That's like $2.00 for someone snipping away half an inch of hair.
Marinellos has bleached AND styled AND cut my hair for $20.00. I cannot express how deeply disappointed I am with this salon and it's overpriced services. I would not recommend this salon to anyone unless you enjoy spending more than you should.
