I were my hair in a natural state. It is fine and kinky. I went to this school for a wash, condition press and trim. The student was unsupervised because the instructor was doing hair for her own clients then went to lunch. During the time I was there she did not walk around to check on the students . She did call them to her desk to check on the head models. According to the owner students are given proficiency exams before they are allowed to do procedures on the public. The student burned out layers of hair from my head and damaged the rest beyond repair. When I returned to speak with the owner he assured me that the students were qualified to work on the public . When I spoke with the instructor, she was very defensive and physically challenged me by stepping up in my face and telling me to leave the premise. During the second visit the students were still unsupervised with the public and Ms. Dear was still doing her clients hair. Bad business behavior.
