My experience with Office Depot has been mixed as I love the products they offer and the friendly customer service of the delivery men, however, the customer service of the Account Management Department has been another experience. For about the past year or longer, a sales rep will call, on average, once a month. In the beginning, I asked them to remove my name and number as I am no longer the contact for my company. I've provided the caller(s) with the new contact name and number on at least 5 different occasions. Eventually, they would call my number and ask to be transferred to the contact person; I then had to explain to the caller(s) that I was not the company operator and again asked that my number be deleted. Some caller(s) have been pleasant; most have been rude or will just hang up on me. I finally filed a complaint with the Executive Customer Relations Department, was given a case # and guess what...I still continue to be called. Had I known that opening an Office Depot credit card would lead to so many solicitation calls, or in their words "special promotion" calls, I would have just continued to use a major credit card for my orders.
