Review 3/3/2010

I purchased a 1/10 brushless buggy for my son in December. It did not function properly when taken out of the box. I contacted Nitrorcx tech support on several occasions, prior to the warranty expiration, to resolve the problem or make arrangements to exchange. I was instructed to try different remedies, not of which worked. I responded to Nitrorcx tech support by informing them the problem was not resolved and I wanted instructions as to the proper method of exchanging, since it had been taken out of box (which voids their warranty return). I was instructed to call tech support and was then left on hold for an indefinite period of time. I was finally able to contact a tech rep via chat line and was then informed the warranty had expired and I was left with an RC car that never worked. I reminded them that I had pursued their product exchange procedures prior to the warranty expiration, but was lead in a different direction by their tech support (trying other methods to fix the car on my own). I paid $170 for this RC car as a Christmas gift for my son. He is now left with a gift that never did, nor ever will function properly.
