My Los Angeles based clothing business had to claim bankruptcy in 2010. It was a very sad and stressful time. A good friend of mine recommended Tim McFarlin from McFarlin & Geurts to me. I went in to talk to him. They give you a free consultation, so you can decide what your bets course of action will be. My first impression of Tim was that he was friendly and very intelligent. The staff who work in his office were friendly as well, and helpful. After my consultation it was clear the bankruptcy was my only option. I have heard horror stories about business bankruptcy so I was very nervous, but Tim handled everything with no stress. I always understood what was happening thanks to Tim, and my bankruptcy went great. We were able to restructure my debts, and I feel like I am moving forward now. I believe Mcfarlin & Geurts handles other types of cases, but for sure, in the bankruptcy department they are great!
