I am writing this about the "mattress connection" in Torrance.
The store in Burbank does not exist anymore to my knowledge.
But the same people are running the store.
First of all the very positive review is clearly from the store itself or a friend of them.
They just want to get the rating up, but not by delivering good products or customer service. Unfortunately.
Our experience with them is so far very disappointing.
We bought a mattress and paid cash. What they delivered three days later feels completely different, even though it has the same name on the tag.
Within an hour of delivery of the mattress we were in the store and complained.
Their only concern was that we will not get the money back, because we signed a "contract".
My husband signed that he paid the money (cash) and on the back side was obviously what they call a contract. Needless to say it is a very unethical one.
You have no rights, period.
We don't think that this contract is valid, since they did not fulfill their part. We did not receive the same mattress we ordered.
So we mailed in a cancellation.
The people from the "mattress connection", the owner and one sales person, are not honorable business people and don't care if you are satisfied with your purchase.
After all, how often does one buy a mattress?
By then they have already moved their store to another neighborhood.
This bait and switch practice is very disturbing and should not be tolerated.
