With the birth of my first son I was excited to place my first order with Mahar Drygoods. I like that their focus is on handmade items and that they provide bio info on the artist(s) that create each item. I purchased custom made baby booties crocheted to look like hockey skates and a set of sweet alphabet letter cards for the nursery wall. I also ordered a plush toy for my niece which I wanted to have gift wrapped but couldn't find an option for this on the site. However, it did arrive wrapped in brown paper and tied with baker's twine, which was sweet. Also I would love to see them add a stationary section or at least some nice handmade cards to send with gifts.
