I recently had Kern Legal Services serve divorce papers on my wife, and couldn't be more pleased with them. First of all, I was surprised to find their corporate office is in Los Angeles.
I naturally assumed they were out of Kern County. The individual I spoke to on the phone was extremely helpful. The online forms were simple to use, and within 20 min. of emailing my documents they sent confirmation telling me it was received and would be going out for service. I warned them that my ex would be difficult to serve, and they did not seemed at all concerned about it. She did try an evade service, but with no luck. After a few attempts, They got her! I paid one reasonable fee, and they took care of the rest. I had never needed to use a process server and didn't have a clue where to go. An attorney friend of mine suggested them I called and the rest is, as they say, history. Now I too will be recommending them if the opportunity ever presents itself.
