Dishonest and Heartless

On Friday April 6, 2012 we were moving into a new home in Hacienda Heights. My husband is a cancer patient and The Silver and Black Angels Foundation did a makeover of our home to make it safe for my husband. On Friday night they were helping us move in when we noticed a towing company starting to hook up one of the vehicles. My husband went out and explained that we were moving in, that he was a cancer patient and this foundation was helping us. We live in a culdesac and was blocking no traffic. The driver said okay and my husband and the other gentlemen helping went back into the house. When they went back out my husbands car was gone. This man had come back and towed it. Now I understand that it is a posted no street parking, but when moving in that is hard to avoid, and we explained that to the driver. When we went to the ofice to retrieve my husbands car we again explained the situation. The man was totally heartless and claimed security had called him to tow the car. He new the hardship we were enduring and made us pay $295 to get the car back. We pleaded with this man and told him he was taking our grocery money. I actually was in tears pleading.He had the chance to do the right thing but pretty much just laughed at us. Once we went back to the community and talked to security, we found that security had never called them to tow our car. Now I understand they have to make a living and I understand they have a contract with our community to tow illegally parked cars, but he knew we were moving in and would not be there long. But do you want do business with a dishonest man and company?
