They will mislead you

I was informed that if a robber cuts the phone line, ADT will not be notified. The only way they would is if they were to sell you their cellguard line for additional $9 a month.
What a rip off when all other monitoring providers will monitor the state of the alarm system and if the phone line were to get cut they would at least call to verify what's going on.
Home Alert sold and installed the system and I made sure of this and they clearly weren't honest. Now I'm told to pay more. Stay away from ADT and home alert. It's sad because home alert has good people working for them but they have to abide by ADT corporate misleading the public policy and they aren't even honest enough to tell you up front.
