Help Modify Now is owned by Larry Gunter - a man with two felony theft CONVICTIONS, one last summer for stealing cash out from homeowners. Working with them does not make much sense. Larry Gunter's (public) record speaks for itself: 06/20/2007 487(a) PC F Grand theft GUILTY 07/30/2008 Pled Guilty 07/30/2008 --And-- 11/01/1993 487.1 PC F Grand Theft GUILTY 04/14/1994 Pled Guilty 04/14/1994. Working with any company under his ownership/control would be, at best, ill-advised. These people are Thieves and Liars, I tried using them already at the tune of $3400. They did absolutely nothing on my MOD, myself and my husband did all the work. The loan got sold in the middle of the MOD and they never even spoke with the new company.
