I have been a member for close to two years. Since I started it hasn't been a day when all equipment may be operating. I have written this same comments to Gold's Gym and filled out my comments at the location. Is understandable to have a broken exercise machine every once in a while, with the exception that is always the same equipment. For example: 1. Out of the four treadmills that have TV screen only one works 100%, another does not shows all the cable channels and two are not operational at all (one of them for over a year). 2. On the elliptical machines at least half of them have either audio jack issues or cable signal/video issues. 3. Off two of the bench press machines, as you walk inside on the left, one has the option to adjust the handles broken, and the other has the foot assist broken. They have been broke for months. 4. The TV screen from the elliptical machines are facing the windows and the outside sun creates a glare making it not possible to view while exercising. That may be alleviated by turning around the elliptical to have the screen facing the inside of the Gym. 5. Air ducts and vents full of dust. Is sad having to pay for something that is not function to your expectations and not been able to get out of it. We are a total of four of my family members that feel prisoners with their contracts, at least we would expect a better quality/service. And by the way there is money been expended on replacing metal panels for the simple reason of cosmetics, that to me it was not required. Watch when you sign the contracts, they have various versions. My son got hook with a two year no way out contract while mine has the choice of paying $175.00 to get out, but I am still afraid of trying plus I only have 12 months to go.
