Dealing with Gold's Gym has been e terrifying experience and would like to share this experience with the ones that would ever consider joining Gold's Gym. They are in the business of taking your money, so do not provide them with any banking information that they can withdraw money as they please. My husband is in the military and after his service we needed to cancel our membership due to relocating. We did not bother calling them before our due date because we had read the problems other individuals and families had come across. So, as stated in our contract we called corporate office phone number provided by Gold's gym and asked them for the corporate address so we could send our statement that expressed our intention to cancel. We had to call multiple times for two months straight and we never got to speak to a person that could provide the address for us. All they would say is that the were not allowed to give out the address for corporate office. Hence, we had no place to send our letter of cancellation. After this, my husband and I decided to go to the gym and were treated terribly by the staff. No manager would come on site and my husband was threatened by the manager on site. We decided to leave shortly after as we realized that this franchise location is in the business of making money and is a true ponzie scheme. As of today my husband continues to get charged in his card. We finally put a stop on our credit card and got refunded for the money we had unfairly been paying. I will make sure I will post my experience with them in every blog, website, social network I possibly can.
