I purchased the Garry vac in Aug of last year. The infomercial sounded great and I was excited to try it. However in the 10 months I've had a Garry Vac I've gone through 6 (yes, SIX) vacuums! They are obviously made of poor materials. The latest vacuum's engine jammed as I was vacuuming the steps with the attachment and no visible particles being vacuumed. I am VERY disappointed with the quality of this vacuum when it sounded so promising. The company did pay for the majority of shipping for the vacuums back but I would highly recommend NOT purchasing this vacuum! It will not last. Sure, they will replace it but it is hiking up the cost of the vacuum so I've spent more than I ever wanted to. Be aware of this vacuum, it isn't worth the money invested!
