Buyer Beware: Owner states that new furniture does not necessarily mean undamaged-pristine furniture, but what is right out of box. Several ads that have been run on Craigslist has stated that new meant it was fresh from the box.
I had a lot of issues with delivery of the items and when delivery was made, I was missing some items. I'm not sure what is going on here, but it seems that whoever is running the show really doesn't care about the customer and is trying to make a profit off of any person that is willing to buy furniture damaged before it is even pulled out of the box.
I was also confused when I asked the person at the store about the damages and they said that they do quality inspections. If they do these so called quality inspections, shouldn't the furniture be undamaged. Apparently the owner or manager said that he can't adjust the price or do anything to remediate the problem because a lot of customers have complained that furniture was damaged and he could not prove to the manufacturer that the damaged was not sustained when we opened the item. He was trying to pull the whole "well the contract says that we're not liable for any damaged items from the manufacturer"...I guess I wasn't smart enough to read the fine print. Don't fall for that!!
Which leads me to think...maybe these so called customer complaints are real and he chooses to ignore them or tell them he doesn't need their business. Trying to move on to the next unsuspecting customer I guess.
Take your business elsewhere. The person that runs this business has no concept of customer satisfaction and thinks that all his customers are cheats...when in fact, which the whole contract caveat, HE is the one who is the cheat.
