Code 3 made my latest purchase experience one of the worst I have ever had if not the worst when dealing with a company from all aspects. My wife ordered a collectible for me for my birthday, paid extra for express shipping so it would get there in time for my special day...after it did not show up on the required day, we called and they said it was never processed even though their web site said it was in process and delivered! Many phone calls later they said that the order was never placed--a huge communication error on their part. They re-processed the order and the item finally showed up 2 weeks later. To our disgust, I called back to complain and ask for a refund on the express shipping (they also billed my credit card incorrectly which had to be remedied). They said they would have to push this issue up to a supervisor and someone would get back in touch with me. They never did, I had to call back every single time and discuss the issue and repeat myself over and over until finally a manager by the name of Susan said I would "get what I was due!"...she said that I was due the cost of shipping but not the express shipping because it is not guaranteed! I could not believe this! I was furious, she sounded like a broken record every time we spoke she would say in a sarcastic tone: "you will get what you are due, now is there anything else I can do for you Mr. xxxx?" I asked to speak to her manager but she would not allow--she instead hung up on me...not once, not twice, but three times!!! I ultimately was able to talk to my credit card company and filed a formal complaint and they stepped up with integrity and refunded the entire shipping cost to us---something Code 3 should have done, no questions, from the very beginning. I have never been treated so poorly from anyone when purchasing something from a company! Susan has absolutely no people or customer service skills, her sarcastic and unprofessional attitude was unacceptable and her final threat to call the authorities on me for calling back too often was ridiculous! I will never do business with them again, and plan on making it known as best as possible what type of company Code 3 is and how they treat their customers to as many people as possible. It is a shame that the great pride they take in replicating our nations fire and police apparatus is not repeated with their customer service and people skills. By the way, they do not deserve any stars, so one star is the lowest this website allows.
