Received unsolicited call by them. I was willing to get estimate on a job. They needed to have my wife present. This is an indication that they want to have an impulse acceptance of their bid. I told them that I have a review process for my bids and that I would not be interested in making an impulse decision. They would not change their minds about having my wife present during the estimate conference. This is a marketing strategy to push work on consumers. I do not do business with companies that use this strategy because it hides the opportunity to do a background check on them.
