My wife and I began working w/Elect Group in Jan 2009 because I had lost my job and we were afraid of losing our home. "Unfortunately homeowners that try to work directly with their lenders have a failure rate of over 80%." was their quoute. This company would not return our phone calls until we had to request to speak with someone above them like the owner.While they paint a pretty picture, they don't really work close with you. We ask over and over for proof that they were talking with our mortage and never received any.
However, after 2 months our mortage did come to use and has worked with us.
We feel like we have been ripped off by this company and want to let others know. You can do a loan modification on your own without help of a third party.
