This is one of the best-run companies I have ever dealt with. I had a roof deck that was leaking into my house during every rainstorm, thanks to termite damage and dry rot. When I was finally ready to get estimates to fix it, my third call was to Wes Meursing of Deck Waterproofing Experts, and he was out at my house the next day. He carefully explained everything that was needed to repair the damage and gave me a quote that was lower than the two previous estimates I got and included work (special painting, etc) that the other companies said they could not do. I also was under a time constraint, and Wes was able to meet my deadline without any problem. The guys on his crew were impeccably clean, very polite, and worked from dawn to dusk to get the job done on time. Not only were there no hidden costs, Wes actually discovered a way to cut 10% of the budget one week into the job by repairing something instead of replacing it. (I honestly never would have known the difference, and most contractors would have just repaired it and still charged me the full replacement cost). Wes also came to the site every day to make sure everything was going smoothly and to go over any questions I had (again, something most managers do not take the time to do).
I am thrilled with the work. I thought I was just getting some repairs done and ended up with what looks like a gorgeous new deck, thanks to the special waterproofing materials and technique that they use. And no more leaking!
As a long-time homeowner who's been through my share of construction jobs, I can honestly say that I have NEVER been more impressed by a company or had a job run more smoothly, efficiently, and painlessly. Wes Meursing is not only honest and dependable, but truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met.
