CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT - I am currently working on trying to seek out and organize a class action lawsuit with this middleman reseller provider of merchant services. I am assisting one former client with a small claims court action against this unethical and deceitful sales practices provider.
The merchant I am trying to help was being charged 8.25% effective rate in fees for credit cards. Additionally, she owned a terminal that is one of the most common terminals in the marketplace but was told that she had to not only had to get a new one but also get two pin pads for it as well. Two pin pads for one terminal??? Also, she was put into a lease of $125 a month for the terminal. The terminal itself cost around $200 to buy.....but yet she was forced into a 4 year $125/mo. lease but even then was told it was only $25 a month only later to see that a 1 was added in front of the 25 for a $125 lease.
This company, thankfully, violates the law by such an outrageous amount that they make themselves easy pickings for a class action suit.
