Buyer Beware!

This tree was offered on Walmart's site (Best Choice Products was the 3rd party vendor). I was thrilled that I found a 9ft tree with 1000 light for such a great price. I received an email stating that my order had been processed and that it had been shipped. I even received a tracking number (which was invalid on Fedex's site and information about it was "currently unavailable" on Walmart's site). It was scheduled to arrive on a Monday. It never arrived. I called about it and the rep assured me it would be there Tuesday. Again, it never arrived. I called Walmart and Walmart transferred me to Best Choice. They were most unhelpful but I did manage to find out that the tree was "out of stock." They charged my card for it, but I was never going to get it. I never received notification that it wasn't coming; I had to call to find this out. I asked Best Choice to make it right and send me an equivalent tree. Nope--too bad. I asked to speak to a supervisor....three times. Was put on hold for a long time three times but no supervisor was willing to talk to me. They told me to call Walmart and ask them to give me a discount on another tree--despite the fact that it wasn't Walmart's fault that this had happened--clearly it was Best Choice's incompetence. But they weren't willing to call Walmart to ask for the discount on my behalf. Walmart made it right for me but I won't get my tree for another week so my house won't be decorated for Christmas when my children arrive to celebrate Christmas. Thanks, Best Choice. Do not order from this company. They do not stand behind their products and are truly awful to deal with.
