Wow. Where do I start? My first dog was rescued off a bucolic Tuscan county road. My current and second dog "Toby" is from a B+B in the bowels of Rosemead. That "B+B" is called Beagles and Buddies. It is not in a glamorous neighborhood; but they have heart and soul and a commitment to the four-pawed creatures they serve. I believe in Destiny Dogs. I believe the Beagles and Buddies founder Connie is a catalyst in this regard. Sometime us two-footed human pet parents need to travel to places afar, unwelcoming of pets or for business. What to do? For me the answer has consistently been to take Toby "home" to B+B. Whether for a weekend or week he's able to have a reunion with his beagle buddies within the bounds of my economic means. Sure there are luxury Pet Hotels. For our family we need simplicity, security and synchronicity with the folks who first connected us with our beloved Tobs. A million thanks to Connie and her staff. We are indebted and will return again. The only downside is that the rescue can't be open every day so you have to pre-coordinate any non-open day retrieval of your pet. Connie is all about the dogs ..... That's as it should be.
