Stay away from this company. First off they don't take credit cards. They do this so a person doesn't dispute it through the credit card company. Big red flag. Second, they have had nine complaints filed against them in the last few months. Their BBB rating is a 'D' and falling.
I sent in $1875 for 35 annuity appointments. They were unable to get me even one. I initially followed their instructions to the letter and just showed up on people's doorsteps. Not one person remembered setting an appointment to see anyone. I then started calling first. I spoke to several people who worked full time and said they couldn't possibly have set an appointment in the middle of the day.
I did actually speak to a couple of people who did remember speaking on the phone to someone about investments. Every single one of those people said they absolutely DID NOT set an appointment.
I'm pretty sure what they do is call people and try to see if they have any investments. If they find one, they immediately e-mail that name to the agent. When the agent just shows up at the prospect's front door, he is supposed to talk his way in. That's why they have such an issue with calling the people first. When the agent calls first, it becomes really obvious that an appointment was never actually set. The problem isn't that when I called the people were telling me they remembered setting the appointment but had now changed their mind. Not one single person I spoke to said they ever set an appointment.
I am now in the process of filing a lawsuit to get my $1875 back. Don't make the same mistake I did - stay away.
