This is a complete fraud. The $175 fee is for this company to file a simple form on your behalf that in all likelihood you have already done so. I became suspicious when I didn't see a website or phone number on the entire letter. It is an extremely deceptive, though not necessarily untruthful, letter. In fact, I had already written the check and signed it when I decided to do a quick check on them. Many thanks to others whose postings validated my suspicions.
