Review 9/27/2010

Mr. Keil, The credit did indeed post to my account on 9/29/10. Thank you for your attention to this matter and your quick response and resolution. I’m sorry it had to come to this level to resolve but I did make several calls to your company prior to this action to try and resolve amicably. I do appreciate your support.
Thank you!
I have a similar complaint to Ashley K posts 1/29/2010. Lunarpages fraudulently charged my credit card $124.75 and will not refund my money. I’ve never had a web site hosted by this company yet they will not refund my money because I’m outside of their 30 day refund policy. How can I be held to a policy I didn’t agree to? They told me to take the issue up with my credit card company. Why should I? My credit card was not otherwise used for any other fraudulently charge so it seems likely this was a mistake on the part of Lunapages. I say mistake but being that others are posting the same issue here, is this really a mistake? I’ve talked to the company 3 times and most recently spoke with a manager, Richard Garcia, he refused to refund my money and insinuated that I have used their services and now I want my money back. I have never used their services for anything, nor will I. I echo Ashley statement, how can an unauthorized charge be nonrefundable no matter what the timeframe?

Upon further investigation of this account we determined that it was indeed set up fraudulently without Ms. Simon’s knowledge. Coincidentally, a full refund in the amount of the charge and requested here in this complaint ($124.75), was provided to Ms. Simon the same day this complaint was filed (Sept. 29, 2010).
A more thorough investigation was in order, yet did not happen, and we take responsibility for that. On behalf of Lunarpages, I would like to personally apologize for the inconveniences Ms. Simon has experienced with our company.
