I found Elite Mac Techs on Yelp. They had ALL five star reviews and let me tell you, they deserve every one of them.
One of our offices had a drive failure in an iMac that was used for customer invoicing. The only backup was several months old (another story) and without this computer functioning, the office was dead in the water.
They diagnosed the computer as having a dead drive and then started the data recovery. They kept us notified on their progress every several hours. By the end of the day, they had recovered ALL of the data, replaced the iMac internal drive with a new 1 terabyte drive, installed a new version of the Mac operating system and copied the data back.
The computer now works perfectly and the office is now back in full operation thanks to Elite Mac Techs.
